Trust

Editorial
Integrity.

A devotional is only as trustworthy as the content inside it. This is how Cornerstone is sourced, reviewed, and held to standard — the questions pastors and parents ask before they put an app in front of their athletes.

01 / Production

How content is made.

01

Sourced

Quotes are drawn from scripture, athletes, coaches, pastors, and authors — chosen for truth that holds under competitive pressure, not borrowed inspiration.

02

Curated & written

The founder pairs each quote with an original reflection — the human, dad-coach voice — hard-capped to a few disciplined sentences so it lands rather than lectures.

03

Reviewed & validated

Mental performance content is reviewed by a professional advisor with elite-level coaching experience; scripture pairings and theological tone are validated by pastoral advisors before anything publishes.

02 / The advisors

Who reviews the work.

Mental Performance Advisor
To be announced
A professional mental performance advisor with elite-level coaching experience reviews Cornerstone's cues for accuracy and craft. Named here as the relationship is ready to share.
Pastoral Advisors
Anchored Council
Pastors who validate scripture pairings, reflection theology, and pastoral tone. Named publicly as those relationships solidify.
Curator
Jaime Solema
Founder. Selects, writes, and signs off on every reflection and cue before it reaches an athlete.

03 / Standards

What we hold to, and avoid.

Translations
NIV is the default translation. ESV and CSB are also drawn from for variety and clarity. Content stays on the common ground of the broadly-accepted 66-book canon — no apocryphal references — so it reads true across mainstream Christian traditions.
Theological posture
Mainstream, denomination-agnostic Christianity centered on Christ. Cornerstone does not take denominational sides, and takes no political or culture-war positioning. The aim is the universal Christian heart of the work — faith, identity, and competition held together.
AI assistance, disclosed plainly
Cornerstone's content is curated by Jaime Solema against a foundation of scripture, sports psychology literature, and pastoral and professional input. Content is drafted with AI assistance, reviewed by the curator, and validated by our advisors before publication. We treat this with the same calm transparency we'd want from anyone we trust.
Privacy & data
Cornerstone collects only what's needed to give you the experience — account email, profile name, sport, and engagement data. No protected health information. No data sold or shared for marketing purposes. No ads, ever. Journals are private to the athlete.
